Content Planning Manager

The Content Planning Manager will be responsible to drive the development of content/influencer marketing strategy and plans as a form of service or product for clients as well as a tool to support the growth of digital business for GroupM agencies.

Responsibilities of the role:
Strategic Planning
- •Drive overall strategic direction based on brand’s marketing objectives
•Identify competitive and landscape content trends using GroupM analytics tools
•Lead in calculating overall Share of Voice ambition per brand
•Identify new trends per channel platform and define the right KOL mix to achieve content plan objectives
•Lead in developing the right KOL content plan with corresponding performance calculation
•Ensure correct campaign phasing versus budget and ambition
•Ensure quality, creative KOL brief and content idea/ messaging
•Liaise with clients for KOL content plan approval
•Drives key learnings and strategic plans, supporting Content Planning Group Head
•Develops detailed campaign plans, supervising planning executive to ensure all plans follow campaign threshold and overall KPI
•Develop monthly/ quarterly trendmining report per category
Account Management
- •Liaise with key client stakeholders to ensure overall brand ambition and strategies
•Ensure client satisfaction on brand’s performance
•Supervises planning executive and leads key campaign planning discussions on a daily basis
•Leads weekly WIPs with clients
Commercial Planning
- •Determine the cost and value for each of the projects
•Ensure zero overspend per campaign plan
•Support Content Group Head in managing costs with Buying team based on budgets
•Support Content Group Head in ensuring budget spend tracker is 100% updated and no overspends
•Supervises all content plan submissions, negotiates with KOL initially to ensure best KOL pricing
Best Practice and Innovations
•Create case studies or portfolio that can establish the value of the service
•Drive innovations on platforms and practice
